Sailing Conditions – May at Its Best
May is one of the most highly regarded periods for regattas on the Black Sea:
🌬 Predominantly thermal winds: 8–15 knots, with interesting tactical variations
🌊 Moderate sea state, typical of open water, with no significant currents
☀️ Pleasant temperatures: air 18–24°C | water ~15–17°C
